About William Fairbairn

Composing since the age of four and performing since the age of seven, William has developed advanced communication skills enabling him to successfully engage a wide range of audiences.


William is currently studying a Certificate IV in Music and Sound Production and undertaking Senior Piano Tuition with renowed musician Jenni Flemming at the Young Griffith Conservatorium.


After coming third at the young age of seven in the Pacific Song Writing Competition in 2005, for his Classical composition Shark Catching the Rainbow Fish, he has not looked back. William then became a full Singer Song Writer with APRA and has gone on to win many awards (see list below) including First place in the 2011 RAW Talent Quest held in Currumbin, QLD.


Thriving on public performances, he has played throughout New Zealand & Brisbane, entertaining at Food and Wine Festivals, Cafés, Festivals, Fundraisers, Auckland Maori TV as well as Corporate Events and numerous other venues including his own sold out concerts and recitals. This Multi Award Winners music room is lined with awards, cups, certificates and trophies.
